MEET YOUR OPPONENT

Who is Jetty?

A little rival, reading your next move.

Matches against Jetty are coming soon. For now, explore the introduction.

01

Jetty is the character. Jev makes the predictions.

Jetty is your in-game opponent. Its predictions use Jev, an AI model provided by TypeSafe. Jev predicts your next hand, and the game code chooses the hand that beats that prediction.

02

Two seconds. Both hands in view.

After the countdown, both hands are visible for two seconds. You can change yours until the deadline. At scheduled moments, Jetty observes the current public hands and completed rounds to predict again. It cannot see future inputs or a hand you have not submitted.

03

More chances to rethink as you advance

First to three wins takes the match. Beat Jetty to move to the next stage. Across three stages, Jetty gets up to one, two, then three chances to rethink. Late or overlapping model responses can reduce the number of decisions applied.

04

Rules decide the winner

The last hand received by the server before the deadline counts. A win earns one point, a draw earns none, and no hand means a loss. Model responses arriving after the deadline are ignored. Network delays can affect when your input arrives.

05

Jetty can get it wrong

AI predictions are not always right. The opening hand of the first round is random; later opening hands use completed round history. Untimed practice uses a random opponent, not Jev.
